Muses Picks of the Week! New Releases for the Week of 15th April 2014

My Picks of the Week

Hello, Muses!

This is going to be a more laid back week for me-- no review, but I will be posting three cover reveals this week, one of which went live yesterday and a release day blast/blitz. So stay tuned for the rest of the posts this week.

Next week I will be posting my review for Fighting to Forget, the third book in the amazing Fighting series by JB Salsbury. Very excited to share my thoughts with everyone.

Congrats to Amanda for winning the Last Breath paperback and Jolanda for winning the e-book copy! It was a very successfully giveaway and blog tour and authors Jessica Clare and Jen Frederick sends their regards to everyone!

There are quite a few interesting releases this week. As I already mentioned, Fighting to Forget by JB Salsbury is out today. In Young Adult, I am sure everyone is excited for the anticipated release of the new Blood of Eden novel, The Forever Song by Julie Kagawa. While I did see most of the Oscar nominated movies, I missed a few, so I can't wait to check out Philomena and the buzzed about Secret Life of Walter Mitty. If you're looking for laughs, you may want to see Ride Along with Kevin Hart and Ice Cube. I heard it was hilarious. And if you are a fan of BBC shows, the second season of Ripper Street is available today.

enjoy,mia

by: JB Salsbury

Every fighter is drawn to the violence, the release that a perfect hit can bring.

But very few are drawn to the pain.

Or so he thought.

Working in a Las Vegas bar isn't Georgia McIntyre's dream. But she hopes it'll be an end to the nightmare.

Over a decade she's watched him. Followed his career and kept tabs, all in preparation for this moment. To make amends, repair the wrong. But she didn't count on the feelings that seeing him again would stir up. The vacant look in his stormy-blue eyes, his perfect body now mutilated by ink and metal.

And she knows why. She's lived his pain, every single day, since the day he left.

Changed by time, Rex doesn't remember the girl from his past. If only she could do the same.
Will she get the absolution she's spent her life seeking?

Or will he continue, Fighting to Forget.
